Shanti Mantras – Saha Navavatu

Vedic peace mantra found in the Taittirīya Upaniṣad, as well as the Śvetāśvatara, Kaṭha and Māṇḍūkya Upaniṣads. It emphasizes the importance of a supportive and beneficial relationship between teacher and student(s), a togetherness and unity that is free from dispute. It is often used to open a class or meeting.

Invocation to Ganesha

May both of us together be protected.

May both of us together be nourished.

May we work together with great energy.

May our study together be brilliant and effective.

May we not hate or dispute with each other.

Oṁ, Peace, Peace, Peace.
