He also reached the most advanced asana level with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, the late master of ashtanga vinyasa yoga. Both of these great teachers personally certified Paul in these practices, a unique position as the only one to receive this double honor. Advanced Yoga Teacher Training 300-Hour Course
In your advanced yoga teacher training course, you will delve deeper into your practice. Not only will you progress further than you thought possible as a teacher, but you will also strengthen your inner connection and personal sense of wellbeing. The 300-hour course is divided into two-week, 100-hour modules, allowing you to complete your training as it fits into your schedule.
This training is focused on the practice of pranayama and will this year offer to those so interested the further practice of kriyas. For most this means getting into the other dhautis and basti. Various options for asana practice are also offered. The afternoon lecture sessions will focus on Gorakhnath’s Siddha siddhantapadhati followed by open discussion and Q&A.
The intention of this course is to offer a practice and philosophy-based advanced/continuing education course (100 hours of continuing education credit) for Mandarin speaking students. Elonne speaks Chinese; some translation will also be provided.
The morning session will be devoted to practice, with a 45-minute pranayama practice and a 30-minute seated meditation and mantra practice. This will be followed by asana practice. Most asana will be Mysore/ Self-Practice with some led classes. If your practice is other than Ashtanga you are still welcome.
The afternoons will focus on philosophy and chanting, looking at specific Yogic and Buddhist texts. And it will conclude with a restorative practice and light breathwork/pranayama.
The evenings will be a mixture of personal time, related videos, and further optional meditation practice.
This course is appropriate for expectant mothers, personal trainers, yoga teachers, midwives, doulas and birth coaches. The content of this course is drawn both from scientific knowledge and the personal experiences of pregnant yoga practitioners. Whether it’s the first time or the fifth time, the relationship between mother and baby begins long before birth. Yoga can play an integral role in the quality of this relationship as mom connects with baby and takes care of her body and mind through practice.
